How to reactivate a suspended account?

Call Altair Customer Service and request for reactivation.

Can I add on other features later such as panic button or voice kit?

Yes, please call Altair Customer Service for upgrading request.

Can I immobilize my vehicle myself?

Yes but currently not allowable and you are advice to contact Altair Customer Service due to safety purposes and only allowable for distress situation.

Why my vehicle is not moving smoothly when I view online? Is it ok?

Yes, there is no problem and it is actually moving smoothly. What you have seen is cause by the data packet received by the Altair server. Data from your GPS tracker is sent to Altair server in a certain time interval such as every 1or 2 minutes. So at every interval, you may notice your next vehicle position during real time tracking.

Will this work in my area?

Altair services work within the coverage area of cellular network provider such as Celcom or Maxis.

Does Altair work throughout the Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak?

Yes, Altair services are offered and work in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

How much does it cost?

Altair services cost depends on your/company requirement and needs. For more information, please call Altair Customer Service

How do I decide which product is suitable for me?

How can Altair increase the safety of passengers?

You can always track unusual car movements, such as rotations, or sudden speed decrease based on which SOS are alerted via the system

Do I lose the data when the vehicle crosses an area that has no network coverage?

No, for outside coverage areas, the data is stored locally and the GPS server is updated as soon as the connection is re-established

Is it possible to set borders that a vehicle should not cross?

Yes, a rectangular or a circular shaped border can be set by entering the coordinates of the borders.

Do I get an alert when a vehicle crosses a preset border?

Yes, an alert is sent for notification when a vehicle crosses the predefined borders containing all information about the vehicle.

Do I get an alert when a vehicle violates speed limits?

Yes, an alert is sent for notification when a vehicle violates the predefined speed limits containing all information about the vehicle.

How do I receive the alert for border crossing or speed violation?

An e-mail or SMS alert will be sent to notify the user of the violated action taken by the vehicle.

Is it possible to view the history of my vehicle movement?

Yes, history movement can be viewed online, showing the path of your vehicle within the specified date and time.

Do I have to install any software on my computer?

No software installation is required. User just needs an internet connection.

How long does it take to install the device?

Usually it takes around 2-4 hours for installation & activation.

Charges for the data transmission are bundle in the package or your monthly subscription charges.

Am I able to track anybody, family members or friends who use my vehicle?

Yes, you are able to track anybody who uses your vehicle from your internet web browser.
